Compartimos la misión de unir a gobiernos locales y provinciales, empresas, bancos, universidades y la sociedad civil en la búsqueda de esfuerzos locales con impacto global. El objetivo principal de la alianza es permitir que Argentina cumpla con sus compromisos bajo el Acuerdo de París y fortalecer sus objetivos climáticos. Actualmente la FNGA se desempeña como coordinadora del nodo de Incidencia Política y el Nodo Santa Fe.
RENEWABLE ENERGIES AND CLIMATE ACTION IN SANTA FE
El proyecto “Energías renovables y acción climática en Santa Fe” busca acelerar la acción climática de la provincia de Santa Fe en el sector de las energías renovables a través del conocimiento y promoción de las acciones climáticas que vienen llevando adelante los distintos actores en todo el territorio provincial, buscando conocer a la comunidad de acción climática de nuestra provincia.
What is AACA?
The Alliance for Climate Action Argentina is a space for the union of multiple actors that brings together local and provincial governments, companies, banks, universities and civil society with the aim of allowing Argentina to fulfill its commitments under the Paris Agreement and strengthen your climate goals. It is part of Alliances for Climate Action, made up of alliances in the United States, Japan, Vietnam, South Africa, and Mexico.
The FNGA, together with Vida Silvestre, Avina, CREA and RAMCC are part of the driving group. She currently works as coordinator of the Political Advocacy node and the Santa Fe Node.
The Santa Fe node brings together actors from the province to work at the local level in climate action.
Why renewable energy?
The inventory of greenhouse gases (GHGs) of the Province of Santa Fe (2016), showed that energy consumption is the main sector of emissions that contribute to Global Climate Change in our province.
In this sense, renewable energies are presented as the most promising option to achieve a change from the current energy matrix towards decarbonisation.
The FNGA understands the potential that our province has in resources such as sun, wind and biomass for the energy transition.

The project "Renewable energies and climate action in Santa Fe" seeks to accelerate climate action in the province of Santa Fe in the renewable energy sector through knowledge and promotion of climate actions that are being carried out by different actors throughout the provincial territory, seeking to form a community for climate action in our province.
